Mr. Washington brings a background in education planning and urban affairs to his work as a project analyst in B&D’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, he served various higher education and PK-12 clients as a research associate at Hanover Research. Major areas of focus included analyzing markets for new degree programs, targeting markets for enrollment expansion, and benchmarking strategic planning metrics. He developed the foundation for these skills as an undergraduate in the urban studies program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received major honors for research into Philadelphia’s charter school community. Additionally, he acquired experience with business planning, project management, and community engagement through an internship with Esperanza, an Hispanic-oriented community development corporation located in North Philadelphia.
