Jim Carruthers

Senior Project Manager

Mr. Carruthers offers over 20 years of experience as a campus center consultant. He has managed and developed innovative campus center services. Mr. Carruthers has worked on over 30 college and university student union projects. Working within the framework of non-profit, surplus-oriented business models, he has marketed union services that have outpaced competition both on and off campus.

Mr. Carruthers was formerly the Director of University Centers at the University of California, San Diego. While at UCSD, Mr. Carruthers developed and managed large, complex budgets that generated surpluses to provide for growth of reserves. Retail outlet and service delivery system planning were also part of his responsibilities during 25 years in campus center operations.
