When the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens planned to build its new 68,000-seat stadium, B&D was asked to serve as program manager and primary liaison between the organization and the project team. We provided daily coordination of information and tracked both budgets and schedules for this $220 million project. We were responsible for ensuring that design and construction adhered to the team’s requirements, we evaluated the cost-revenue relationships of several facility features/amenities, and identified concepts for fan enhancements to maximize the stadium’s marketability and revenue-generation potential. Our work provided quantification of the positive economic impact the stadium would have on the surrounding community and encouraged site design that was responsive to its urban context. The stadium, opened in 1998, is widely regarded as one of the premier facilities in the NFL.
