David Novy is B&D’s special projects leader and Air Force veteran with nearly three decades of experience leading large-scale planning, design, and construction programs around the world. As head of B&D’s Defense Communities sector, he guides the firm’s work with military and federal clients—driving strategic growth, cultivating partnerships, and ensuring delivery excellence across complex, mission-critical projects.

Before joining B&D, David served a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force, where he oversaw a $38 billion real estate portfolio across the Indo-Pacific, commanded a 550-person engineering and logistics team in the Middle East, and advised the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on installation resilience, energy, and infrastructure policy. His leadership has consistently advanced organizational performance, operational readiness, and sustainability within diverse and high-pressure environments.
